Jimmy Wopo was shot and killed in his hometown of Pittsburg Monday. He was one of two people shot in Pittsburgh’s Middle Hill neighborhood. Jimmy was taken to the hospital in critical condition but died from his injuries.
Jimmy’s manager, Taylor Maglin, confirmed the rapper’s death on Facebook.
“I lost my brother today and it’s the worst feeling in the world,” Jimmy wrote. “He was destined for greatness and he wanted the best for his friends, family and community. We lost a great person today, but just know I will do everything in my power to make his memory live on forever. Love you bro #LongLiveWopo.”
Pittsburgh police say the second victim is listed in stable condition.
