Prince Eazy and Montana of 300 nearly collabed on new music, but plans never materialized. Eazy described speaking with Montana about a potential collab during their first meeting at a hotel.
“I met him. For one I thought he was tall as hell. He ain’t tall. I’m taller than him. I met him going into a hotel,” Eazy told Kollege Kidd during an exclusive interview. “And he was getting into an elevator, I was getting into an elevator. When I saw him it was all love. He like, ‘Boy I just saw your ‘Try Me’ remix. You bodied that b***h.’ I said, ‘N***a, yo bodied that b***h, too.’”
Eazy said him and Montana soon exchanged numbers.
“I texted him,” Eazy continued. “Everything good. He like, ‘We gon work.’ Hit him the next, hit him the next day. He wasn’t picking his phone up. As a man, I’m not calling no man more than three times. I’m like, ‘Damn, where the love at.’”
Eazy believes arrogance was the cause of Montana not responding to him.
“I’m like bro don’t ever let the views get to your head cause he probably feel like I’m getting millions of views, he getting 500,000, 700,000, 400,000, 100,000,” he said. “Bro, that don’t mean nothing. S**t change at the end of the day.”
Eazy added, “I would never do a Chicago artist like that. If I don’t f**k with you, I’ma tell you.”
