Producer Mannie Fresh probed today’s music industry and the quality of the musical content it is producing.

The brain behind the original Cash Money Records’ production said classics are hard to find today.

“Think about it right now how songs are getting played. What’s a classic song?” he asked during an interview with Vlad TV. “When a song is done in this era, it’ done. You’re not going to hear that song five years from now at a wedding reception and be like ‘that’s my jam.’ Throw it in the sea, it’s done with it.

“…The music not being felt the way it was.”
