Rick Ross Allowed To Travel Country For Concerts

A Fayette County judge has allowed Rick Ross to travel outside of Georgia to perform at concerts, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

This ruling proves to be a win for Rick Ross whose income was limited due to not being able to make concert appearances.

“Feels real good just to go out,” Ross told WSB-TV 2 Atlanta. “Everybody that supported you, your fans. And everybody that’s been sending their love.”

Ross, 39, took a financial hit after posting a $2 million bond to be released from jail on Wednesday, July 1.

Ross pulled $1 million equity from boxer Evander Holyfield’s former estate he bought last year that’s valued at more than $5 million. He reportedly got the remainder from a $500,000 corporate surety bond from a bond bailsman and threw in $500,000 cash.

Ross’ attorney reportedly said he would forfeit the entire Holyfield mansion, if the rapper does anything to obstruct justice or intimidate any witness.

Ross has restrictions in his agreement with the court. He must provide his itinerary to the district attorney’s office. He also must return home within two hours when he returns to Georgia.

Ross and his bodyguard are alleged to have beaten two workers for throwing a birthday party at his million-dollar mansion.

The workers allegedly suffered extensive injuries in the head and face after being beat with a Glock handgun, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. One man reportedly suffered two chipped teeth and a neck injury.

“The victim lost use of his jaw and is restricted to soft foods and liquid diet only as a result of not being able to chew food,” arrest warrants obtained by AJC state.

U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force picked up Ross at his Fayette County, GA residence the morning of Wednesday, June 24, according to Billboard. He was subsequently charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery charges. Bodyguard Nadrian Lateef James, 42, faced the same charges.

Ross was arrested June 10 on a traffic violation and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
