Sha Money XL sat down with Revolt TV to explain why Epic Records has not bailed Bobby Shmurda out of jail.

Bobby Shmurda remains jailed on $2 million bail on charges of conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

“With 50, he bailed out [Young] Buck and helped [Tony] Yayo all the time. Those are the boutique labels, where you got that brother that’s there that feels compassion and could do things that’s not as corporate,” Sha Money said. “It’s not like a social worker. They’re not here to worry about what happens in your private life. Those are the choices you make in your private life. We’re here to help bring your career to the limelight and help take it to the next level. But we’re not here to pay for lawyers and all of that.

“These are choices we all make as people that we gotta live with,” he continued. “It’s just what life is about. You gotta watch the choice you make in life. It’ll come back and bite you. Whether good, bad or indifferent, I feel he’s in G-d’s hands and that’ll be the answer he’s got to take to G-d. But you can’t blame a record label for not doing something no record label does.”

Bobby Shmurda appeared in Manhattan Supreme Court Thursday, June 25 where turned down an eight-year plea deal.

Bobby, dressed in an orange jumpsuit, did not speak with or acknowledge family members or Epic Records executives in attendance (including label president, Sylvia Rhone), according to Revolt.

Bobby’s trial will begin Oct. 5.
