Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity Member Found Dead in Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity House



A San Diego State University student was found dead in a university frat house Friday, May 4, The U-T San Diego News reports.

Bardeen Barzanji, 20, was found dead in the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity house. Fraternity spokeswoman Gina Jacobs told U-T San Diego News there is no indication of foul play.

Barzanji was found unresponsive in a bed at the Phi Kappa Theta house. Police were later notified.

Barzanji was a junior criminal justice major at the university. He was president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at the university.

The fraternity has reportedly been placed on interim suspension while campus police and the university’s Office of Student Life and Leadership continues.
