Snoop Dogg: ‘Tupac Knew He Was Going To Die’

In an interview with VladTV, Snoop Dogg discussed fallen friend Tupac’s work ethic and legendary appeal.

“I think Pac, by most people, is viewed as the greatest rapper of all time because he had a futuristic pen about himself,” Snoop Dogg said. “His pen wrote the future and told a story of what is going to be as opposed to what it is. And now it’s prophesized. You’re starting to see it. You’re starting to hear it. And it makes him seem like one of the greatest philosophers of the world because his pen told you this years ago.”

Snoop Dogg likened Pac to a “spirit” or a “god,” saying the legendary rapper wrote, “what’s happening nowadays.”

“He wrote his death before his death happened.

“He shot the video for ‘I Ain’t Mad At Cha’ a week before he got killed,” Snoop said. “Like why would you do a video about you getting killed? And then a week later, you get killed.”

Snoop also praised Pac’s work ethic, saying, “He worked like a f*cking race horse.”

“The way I work now.. I ain’t half of what he is. He Usain Bolt and I’m like Carl Lewis.”
