The Hip Hop community received devastating news this morning after one of its rising MCs was gunned down during a nightclub performance.

Grand Hustle rapper Doe B, born Glenn Thomas, was shot and killed at the Centennial Hill Bar & Grill nightclub early Saturday morning in Montgomery, AL.

Doe B’s management issued a statement early Saturday morning confirming the “Hood Memories” rapper’s death.

“On behalf of doe b’s management i would like to thank all of his fans and say Rest in Peace my brother Glenn Thomas aka @CBMDOEB,” the statement read.



Many in the Hip Hop community took to social media to mourn the “Trap Muzik” rapper’s death.

Hustle Gang boss T.I. took to IG to mourn Doe B’s death.

“RIP to my lil brother Doe B. We gon miss u my nigga. U’ll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always. Just rest now my nigga…WE GOT IT From here,” the caption on his post read.



Doe B’s Hustle Gang protégé Trae tha Truth initially took to IG to praying Doe B’s recovery, but soon learned of the “Trap Muzik” rapper’s tragic fate.

Memphis rappers Yo Gotti and Juicy J also took a moment to remember their Southern rap counterpart.

“Dam.. R.I.P Doe B #Prayers,” Yo Gotti wrote on Twitter.



Juicy J wrote on Twitter, “R.I.P. Doe B, so sas, my prayers go out to his family & friends.”



Renowned Hip Hop DJ Drama, who was once the official DJ of Grand Hustle, issued a statement on IG, writing, “sad. Rip doe b. My condelences to family, friends, @djfwhite.”



MMG Artist Meek Mill was affected by Doe’s passing and issued a statement via IG.

“R I P Doe B….I hate seeing shit like dis!” the caption on his post read.
