Rapper Lil’ Phat, born Melvin Vernell, III, was shot and killed Thursday night outside Atlanta, Ga. Lil’ Phat, known for his affiliation with Louisiana rappers Lil Boosie and Webbie, was reportedly gunned down outside Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs, Ga.
