Tay-K is blowing up on the underground rap scene despite being in jail on a capital murder charge. Tay-K is buzzing heavy off his song “The Race.”

Tay-K released the song’s visual when U.S. Marshalls apprehended him after being on the run for a month. A judge ordered the 17-year-old rapper to be held in adult jail until he is certified as an adult in a home invasion robbery case.

“I f**k with Chief Keef heavy,” Tay-K said. “I get a lot of my flows from Chief Keef. I f**k with Chief Keef, I f**k with Lud Foe heavy. Lud Foe is a big inspiration. I f**k with Young Pappy. I f**k with a lot of Chicago artists. I f**k with the whole Glo Gang– Tadoe, BallOut.”
