Tay600 Says 50 Cent, Jay Z, Tupac and Chief Keef Inspired His Music

Tay600 attributes his style of music to a few Hip Hop trailblazers, including 50 Cent, Jay Z, Tupac and even Chief Keef.

The Team 600 rapper provided reasoning behind his influences during an interview with USD2R Mag.

“When I was coming up, my daddy used to listen to a lot of rappers like 50 Cent. I f-ck with 50 Cent hard,” he said. “He was just that n-gga in the 90s and early 2000s.I f-ck with 50 a lot. That’s my homie.

“…Jay Z and sh-t,” he continued. “My OG used to listen to all that old Tupac. I f-ck with Tupac. I don’t really f-ck with too many of them old school rappers.”

One of Tay’s influences is new school artist and Chi Town affiliate Chief Keef.

“…Another n-gga that inspired me was my homie Sosa,” he said. “He was a big part of this rap game… Chicago movement. I just like how he came from nothing. … made himself a millionaire.”
