A witness took to IG to reveal XXXTentacion’s accused murderers were in the same motorcycle shop as him before his tragic death.
Dedrick Devonshay Williams, 22, of Pompano Beach was arrested in the shooting death of XXXTentacion Wednesday night, the Broward Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday morning. He was arrested on several charges, including first-degree murder, grand theft of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
The witness posted a screenshot of text messages he shared with a friend that read, “We were standing next to the killer. And they left 15 minutes before it happened. …We were standing next to the killer. And they left 15 minutes before it happened. …We had a feeling it was them. [They’re] gonna catch the other guys now.”
Dedrick’s brother took to IG to issue a statement on his brother’s arrest.
“All y’all that got my brother name in y’all mouths, keep my brother out y’all motherf****n mouths,” the brother said. “We ain’t playing no games, bruh. Y’all getting y’all self in a whole bunch of trouble. Y’all just mind y’all business, let them crackas do they motherf*****g job. N***a pulling up for real my n***a.”
X’s mother told family and friends police notified her of the charges during a vigil Wednesday night.
Williams has previous arrests for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence and aggravated assault with a firearm.
TMZ reports there are two other suspects on the loose.
