XXXTentacion Fans Riot After Police Cancel Free Show In Florida

XXXTentacion spurred mayhem last night after scheduling a free concert at the Orpheum in Tampa, FL. The event drew a crowd of over 1,000 concertgoers, which far exceeded the 725-person capacity for the venue.

The amount of concertgoers ultimately caused the event to be cancelled.
Dope Entertainment, the promotional company behind the event, took to Twitter to explain the reasoning behind the cancellation of the concert.

“Tonight’s show has been cancelled due to the fire department deeming it a safety hazard,” Dope Entertainment wrote. “Sorry to all those that came out,”

X took to IG Stories to apologize for the event’s cancellation.

“Tampa, my deepest apologies. I drove all the way down here, I drove four hours just to basically have the show canceled on me. Apparently because it was over capacity, there was at least 3,000 to 4,000 of you outside, and … the venue only could support 750. As far as the new free show, I’m going to try to and get a free show going, but that was the only venue that wanted to work with me, but you just bear with me, I’m going to try to work this out. For now the show is canceled, not due to my choice, it was just the venue, and the fire marshal said we could not do the show, so the show is canceled, I apologies, my deepest apologies.”

Despite heavy police presence, no one was arrested. Check out footage of the melee below:

Show was cancelled. And they broke his right mirror.. ? @xxxtentacion
