Young Chop Talks Production On Diddy’s ‘Money Makin Mitch’ and Meek Mill’s ‘Dreams Worth More Than Dreams’

Young Chop is working. We originally reported Chop’s production talent would be used on Kanye West’s upcoming album.

The South Side Chicago native is also working on Diddy and Meek Mill’s upcoming albums “Money Makin Mitch” and “Dreams Worth More Than Money,” respectively, according to XXL Mag.

Chop reportedly met Diddy after producing French Montana’s “Ocho Cinco.”

The two met again during a St. Louis concert performance.

“We were doing the same show in St. Louis,” Chop told XXL Mag. “This was like a couple of weeks ago. I walked up to him and said what’s up, and he was like, “I’m working on my album, come with me.” Literally like two hours later I was on a private jet with him going to Miami to work on his album. I didn’t have no clothes, no nothing; I was just out there. I had to buy all new clothes and everything.”

Chop reportedly produced about three records for Diddy.

“It’s different,” he said. “Wait til you hear it. It’s no so-called ‘trap’ music. It’s different sh-t.”

Chop produced Diddy’s single “I Want The Love,” which happens to feature Meek.

Chop told XXL he has about “one or two” records on Meek Mill’s project.
