Young Thug Free After Posting $21K Bond

Young Thug has left Fulton County Jail after posting $21,000 bond Friday, according to WSB-TV Atlanta.

Thug’s legal woes came after he allegedly made terroristic threats against a Perimeter mall security guard. He was arrested early Wednesday at his Sandy Springs, GA home eight days after he told the mall cop he would shoot him in the face after he was asked to leave, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution.

Thug’s troubles grew after police raided his home.

Mike Petchenik of Atlanta WSB-TV reports Sandy Springs police charged Thug with drug and weapons violations following the raid of his home. Petchenik alleges police confiscated less than a gram of cocaine, about an ounce of marijuana and three guns, including an AK-47 and AR-15.

Thug’s defense attorney Brian Steel told Judge Jeffrey Frazier the weapons are lawfully owned by the rapper’s security.

Thug will be allowed to travel outside the U.S., but has to check in telephonically once a week and is due back in court July 31 for another court hearing.

Thug was also named in an indictment that alleged he was involved in a plot to kill rival rapper Lil Wayne. Thug’s tour manager PeeWee Roscoe was indicted on 30 charges for shooting Lil Wayne’s tour bus.
