Lil Wayne made news earlier today after he dissed Young Thug. Thug issued a statement after learning of Weezy’s words.

“I understand that Lil Wayne is frustrated about his career,” he said in a vlog. “I feel him on that. But this is my idol. I wouldn’t ever in my life swap words with him or beef with him about nothing. This is a person I look up to. Haha”

His caption on his IG post read, “I respect @liltunechi for being someone so big in my life, no matter what he say.”

Wayne threw shots at Thugga during a recent performance.

“Yall let him know I said ‘F*ck em,’” Weezy said. “…I want yall to do me a favor. Stop listening to songs of n-ggas that pose naked on their motherf-cking album cover.”
