Chief Keef says a way to solve the violence problem in Chicago is for residents to be offered “deals.”

Chief Keef signed a $6 million recording contract with Interscope Records in 2012, according to DNAinfo.com.

“Give some deals out,” he told Adrienne Gibbs of the Chicago Sun-Times. “Everybody in Chicago taking them. That’s the only way out. You from Chicago, you taking a deal. Ain’t no ‘F-ck a deal.’ You want a deal, especially if you come from where I come from.

Sosa is a native of Parkway Gardens, a low-income apartment complex in South Side Chicago. It is commonly known as O’Block.

“You like ‘Where that deal at?’ he continued. “You ain’t gon go for anything… if you got a good manager or management. If it’s decent. You ain’t gon get anything. If you worth what you really want.”

Keef said a deal isn’t just limited to a record label.

“If you want to be a basketball player getting a deal… rapper, football player, baseball soccer player… doctor deal,” he said.
