Fredo Santana Signs Memphis Boy, BabyCEO, To Savage Squad Records

Controversy has kept Memphis teen rapper BabyCEO in the news. BabyCEO’s antics has also caught the attention of none other than Mr. Scary Site himself- Fredo Santana. Fredo took to IG to announce BabyCEO as the newest member of Savage Squad Records.

Fredo posted a screenshot of himself on FaceTime with the “F.D.O” rapper.

The caption on his post read, “Newest member of @savagesquadrecords lol bro @cbg_babybigbossceo.”

BabyCEO took to IG to confirm his signing.

“@fredosantanassr In Da Cut You Know He Gon Kill U #LiveAsf #SavageSquadRecords.”

BabyCEO has been the center of much of controversy ever since a video himself smoking marijuana hit the net. Fox 13 Memphis would later run a story on questionable social media posts showing him with guns and drugs.

Fox 13 would later quote the boy as saying Chief Keef influenced him to pose with drugs and guns.

BabyCEO later stated he was thugging way before he knew who Chief Keef was.

“Kmsl Man Chief Keef Aint Influence Me I Been Doing Dis Sh*t Before I heard Of Him FYM,” he wrote on Twitter.

Baby again sparked controversy in late April after comparing himself to Robert “Yummy” Sandifer. He posted an image of Yummy’s iconic cold stare with a caption, reading, “Yung N*gga Remind Me Of Me #LilYummy.”

BabyCEO comes from a troubled background. His brother was murdered and his sister Desunda Brown is serving time in prison. Brown has a lengthy rap sheet that includes charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm, to name a few.

Memphis counselor Stevie Moore says he doesn’t blame BabyCeo for his actions.

“This child didn’t learn it by himself. He had role model,” Moore said. “A role model is a role model whether it’s good or bad.”
