Bo Deal opens up another side of his artistry in his new single “Brighter Day.”
Bo is gangsta, but is not afraid to speak on his shortcomings in life. Bo attains the vocal assistance of R&B songstress Sonta for his thought-provoking DY of 808 & Da Surgeonz-produced joint.
Bo speaks on past sins, black-on-black violence, police brutality, racism and much more in this record.
Bo raps, “If I could take back the things that I did, I wouldn’t because it made me the good man that I am/I apologize for what I did, forever I’ma pay for that/Karma struck and it f****d me up/I knew I had a day for that/We living in our last days, babies dying fast ways/Youngins smoking dead youngins, ducks up in the ash trays/Police killing n****s, n***s killing n****s/Steady hurting our family members/When will n****s get the picture?”
Bo gets back in savage mode in this project’s conclusion previewing his upcoming “Same Sh*t” music video. Watch above.
