Bobby Shmurda Comes Up With $2 Million Bond, May Come Home Tomorrow

Bobby Shmurda has come up with the money to be released from jail. Shmurda’s family tapped bondsman Ira Judelson to prepare the bail package they intend to present to a judge very soon, according to TMZ. Bobby’s aunt reportedly attained collateral for the $2 million bond by putting up several properties. Bobby may come home as early as Thursday, Dec. 3.

In late October, Bobby Shmurda called into Hot 97 to clear the air on rumors of his bail. Bobby Shmurda was denied bail during his Monday, Oct. 5 hearing in Manhattan Supreme Court, the New York Post reports. Judge James Burke set a new trial date for Bobby for Feb. 22, 2016.

“With the bail situation, I’m wild hearing rumors going on. [Wendy Williams] telling people I got the 10 percent. My bail, I don’t have 10 percent of my bail. I got collateral,” Bobby told Hot 97. “I got the whole security. They want 100 percent. They don’t want 25 percent. They don’t want 40 percent. They don’t want 50, they want the whole $2 million.”

Bobby mentioned he has not been in contact with Epic Records “in a long time.”

Bobby is charged with multiple conspiracy counts, one count of reckless endangerment, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison.
