Bobby Shmurda is accusing the New York City judicial system of violating his constitutional rights for not lowering his $2 million bail.
Bobby’s hopes of having his bail amount reduced were denied a total of seven times.
Bobby opened up on his legal woes during an interview with ThisIs50’s Pvnch.
“Right now, they ain’t trying to give me the deal because they know if I come home, I’ma beat this, so right now they trying to hold me in here as long as possible so they can give me like trying to hold me for 3 or 4 years,” Bobby said. “And then try to give me time served or something like, but they don’t got nothing on me. I’m not even supposed to still be here. I got several lawyers pertaining to my case that’s saying that the bail is supposed to be dropped and these charges are supposed to be dropped the bail not even even suppose to be high due to the Emory Law Book. But they violating my constitutional rights. They violating civil rights that they are just flushing it down the toilet for their own political reasons.”

Bobby’s attorney, Alex Spiro, believes the $2 million bail is set too high given that GS9 rapper’s net worth was falsely estimated at $20 million, according to TMZ. Spiro states his net worth hovers around $427,000 and that his bail should be set in the $50-100,000 range.
Bobby has been in jail since his December 2014 arrest after he was nabbed on drugs and weapons charges.
