Many speculated Cam Newton’s amazing performance in his first game against the Arizona Cardinals was merely a fluke. Newton, who set a record breaking performance for most yards for a rookie quarterback  with 422 yards, is likely positioning himself to become rookie of the year. This past Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, Newton broke his own record as he torched the Charles Woodson led defense with 433 yards. Though Newton’s stellar performance has yet to equate to any wins, he will get another shot next Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Bank of America stadium.
