Chief Keef was issued an arrest warrant Monday after failing to show up for a child support hearing, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The hearing was to address $10,000 owed in back child support for his 17-month-old daughter.
Erica Early, 30, filed a paternity suit against Sosa in June 2013. It was later determined through DNA testing that the “Bang 3” rapper was the father.
In November 2013, Chief Keef was ordered to pay $2,500 a month beginning in December for the next 10 months, according to Tribune. Sosa also owed 10 months of child support to Early totaling $25,000 by Dec. 31.
Chief Keef was also ordered to obtain medical and life insurance for the child, which he has done.
According to the Tribune, that payment was reduced to $1,650 per month in child support and $5,000 in back payments in March.
Early said Sosa hasn’t seen his daughter in at least a few months.
“I guess since he’s living the lifestyle that he’s living, that you know, right now he probably don’t care about too much,” he said.
Sosa’s firstborn daughter Kayden Cozart is from a previous relationship. He is expecting another child with his current girlfriend.
