Chief Keef’s 90-day drug rehabilitation stint didn’t reform the Interscope artist at all. It did, however, build Sosa’s urge for some drugs.
Despite professing he wasn’t “coming back” to rehab, Sosa shockingly told followers his plans to get high via Twitter.
“Case Dropped now I can Get high to the Sky!” the “Bang 3” rapper wrote.
Sosa celebrated his freedom Feb. 28 after a Cook County judge deemed the O’Block native’s 90-day drug treatment successful.
Sosa may want to rethink his plans to go back to old habits.
Cook County Judge Earl Hoffenberg issued a stern warning to the embattled South Side Chicago MC, saying, “If I see you again, you’re going to be singing your praises in jail.”
Chief Keef underwent drug rehabilitation on the West Coast. He was granted permission to enter drug treatment at the Promises Treatment Center, a California-based private facility. Several notable celebrities have entered the drug-treatment, including Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.
Chief Keef was prompted to move from Promises Treatment Center to Wavelengths Recovery center due to “overwhelming media attention,” TMZ reported.
“I had to stay with 30 motherfuckers — and I don’t like people,” Sosa told Billboard in reference to his Promises Treatment. “I ain’t no friendly-ass n*gga. I won’t shake your hand if I don’t like you. Don’t speak to me.”
The O’Block rapper compared rehab to jail.
“It’s like being locked up,” Sosa told BillBoard. “And when I’m locked up, I don’t want anybody to come see me. I won’t let my family come here. I haven’t seen my 2-year-old daughter.”
The warm, sunny atmosphere didn’t impress Chief Keef.
Sosa recalled feeling like he was “going to die” in rehab, according to BillBoard.
“I know it’s cold, but I love Chicago,” he told BillBoard.
Sosa’s disdain for rehab fueled his soon-to-be-released single “F*ck Rehab.”
Chief Keef is set to release a visual for the “Bang 3” track. Sosa leaked behind the scenes footage of the North Star shoot.
All of Sosa’s problems stem from a June 2013 speeding ticket.
Northfield Police clocked Sosa driving 110 mph on the Edens Expressway. Keef’s arrest came following a performance in Davenport, Iowa.
Chief Keef plead guilty to the charge and was fined $531, placed on probation for 18 months, ordered to perform 60 hours community service, undergo random drug testing and complete eight hours of traffic school.
In mid-October, a judge ordered Chief Keef to serve 20 days in jail for violating the terms of his probation after testing positive for marijuana, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Sosa was released a few days later for good behavior.
But Keef soon found himself back in jail Nov. 7 after failing yet another drug test. He was subsequently ordered to undergo 90 days of drug treatment.
Now that Sosa is free, he can dedicate his full attention to his upcoming music projects.
Sosa was initially set to release “Bang 3” on March 3, but this project will be pushed back. Sosa is now preparing to release “Bang 4” EP before “Bang 3” the album.
Sosa leaked the project’s cover art on Twitter, writing, “Bang4 The EP Bfo B3.”
Fans also have “Back From The Dead 2” to look forward to.
Sosa leaked the cover art for “BFTD2” via IG. The cover art features a zombified version of Sosa with legions of the dead following him.
A bloodied number two is placed above Sosa’s head.
Keef simply captioned this post, “BFTD2.”
Sosa dropped his Young Chop-produced lead single to the project “All I Care About” prior to the cover art.
No word on those projects’ official release dates.
