Chief Keef is not letting public news of his termination from Interscope stop the Sosa campaign. The South Side Chicago artist announced that “Bang 3” is still dropping on its expected Christmas Dec. 25 date. Furthermore, Sosa will be “quietly” leaking new music from his long-awaited project.
“F-ck that Everything that was Supposed to drop Still dropping 10days left for #BFTD2and Christmas #B3 SituationGang!
“Quietly… I’m Finna Leak some Off B3 I was Tryna hold best for last but,” he wrote.
Sosa announced the release date for “Bang 3” when promoting “Back From The Dead 2” and his November project “Mansion Musick.”
The former Interscope artist posted a cover art for the latter project onto his IG account with a caption, reading, “#BFTD2Halloween #MansionMusickNov28th #B3Christmas.”
Sosa’s much-anticipated project has received numerous release dates to fans’ dismay. The project was supposed to drop in late September, according to Glo Gang member BallOut.
Ball made the announcement in behind the scenes footage of Sosa’s “Superheroes” music video featuring A$ap Rocky.
“New album finna drop ‘Bang 3’ Sept. 30,” the “Welcome To BallOut World” rapper said.
Chief Keef revealed his album’s tracklist through IG in late July.

Chief Keef was expected to drop his project on March 3. Sosa issued a statement the following day, stating the project was not complete.
“Today I got a Call From The Label, Now they saying B3 Ain’t done yet. Now I gotta go all da way back to Cali to record,” he wrote.
“But I apologize, I got something for y’all!” he added.
Sosa then announced he would be dropping a “Bang 4” EP in the meantime.
Sosa leaked the project’s cover art on Twitter, writing, “Bang4 The EP Bfo B3.”
He would later reveal he is also dropping a project titled “Thot Breaker.”
Sosa’s “Bang 3” is reportedly set to feature production from Kanye West.
A photo surfaced in early February showing Chief Keef and Kanye West hard at work.
Sosa’s manager Peeda Pan shared this image and confirmed via IG the two were working on “Bang 3.” He captioned his post, “#Gang” and commented, “#Bang3.”
Sosa shared this image to his IG account, writing, “Almighty and Yeezus.”
“Late night Money,” he added in another photo.
Chief Keef promised “old Sosa” to fans to generate buzz. And not to mention, his claim that the project would “raise the murder rate,” according to an IG post.
“Bang 2 And Almighty So On ITunes Right Now But Bang 3 No Lie Y’all Really Don’t know How crazy Im goin #ImFinnaRaiseTheMurderRateUp
“If I’m Lien I Can Get Killed right Now this Shit Is So fuckin hardcore #ThatOldSosa #bang3 Niggas Better Be Scared,” the captions on his IG posts read.
Chief Keef’s manager Peeda Pan regarded the 18-year-old rap phenom as “so f*****g creative” during an interview with XXL Magazine.
Pan said “Bang 3” will show Sosa’s growth as an artist.
“I think people will hear his progression in addition to those elements that they wanted to hear from Finally Rich and Back From The Dead,” Pan told XXL. “That s**t is all present in his new joint.”
Sosa boasted “Bang 3” had 50 songs, including, “Save Me,” “Either Way,” F*ck Rehab” and “Bang Like Chop.
