A Detroit, MI elderly couple were murdered over a lottery ticket, CBS 9 reports.
Tierra Evans, the couple’s daughter, is pleading with the community for information on her parents’ assailant.
The motive, she said, for the crime was a lottery ticket.
Evans told CBS 9 her father purchased the winning lottery ticket two weeks ago and told everyone about his newfound fortune.
Evans believes the perpetrator may have been someone her father known.
“I just ask that if anybody know anything, just please. Because they didn’t deserve this, my daddy helped the community,” she told CBS 9. “He would have done anything for anybody. They could just have got the ticket and left them alive.”
