Gucci Mane is lashing out against claims he secured legal assistance for incarcerated rapper Young Vito.
Young Vito, born Vinson Hardimon, was charged and convicted in the Dec. 16, 2011 shooting death of BSM rapper Slim Dunkin.
Gucci Mane insinuated Waka spread lies and addressed the rumors in a series of tweets.
“I did not pay for a lawyer for guy who killed slim dunkin. Thats a, lie. I luv dunk.
“If. U believe I payed 4. Vito lawyer. U a bitch. Fuck Vito. Fuck nigga
“Told all ya boys. I paid 4 a lawyer 4 Vito U can’t lie 4ever I luv dunk
“I don’t know. Vito. Period. Fux him. Haters spread rumors. Let Dunk rest in peace b4. Sum1 join him Squad,” he wrote.
Bricksquad Monopoly rapper Frenchie echoed claims of Gucci providing financial assistance for Vito’s legal team.
“@gucci1017 that shit hurt my heart to here you payed for that nigga lawyer I never say shit fucked up to you but now enuff is enuff,” Frenchie wrote.
Gucci responded to Frenchie, saying, “@FrenchieBSM you know I didnt pay 4 lawyer for buddy he a stranger I rock wit gz. U hurt cuz. U hungry and homeless prove I did sum.”
Slim Dunkin’s death was the result of a fight that erupted in an Atlanta studio.
Vito said he shot in the rapper, born Mario Hamilton, in self-defense.

Young Vito was found not guilty in the murder of BSM rapper Slim Dunkin.
He was, however, charged with aggravated assault and sentenced to 25 years in prison, according to Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
