Police have arrested a man whom they believe is responsible for stealing $3 million worth of jewelry from Drake and Future the Prince’s tour bus last night. A briefcase containing the jewelry was swiped from the tour bus at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Scottsdale, AZ.
Phoenix police arrested 21-year-old Travion King and have recovered the jewelry. He was booked into Maricopa County Jail on a burglary charge.
King, who was identified through surveillance footage, was already in jail after being arrested for trespassing Wednesday morning by campus police at Arizona State University in Tempe.
King has done contract work in the past with the Talking Stick Resort Arena. He was not working during the theft.
Police say the jewelry belongs to Future the Prince.
Neither Drake nor Future the Prince has commented on the arrest.
