Fredo Santana Calls Savage Squad Records The ‘New Death Row’

Fredo Santana is confident in his new flagship record label Savage Squad Records. The “Trappin Ain’t Dead” Rapper likened his label to the one-time 90s powerhouse record company Death Row Records.

“#DoubleSR #SavageSquadRecords we the new Death Row @GinoMarley @SD_GBE300 #SSR squaddd,” he wrote on Twitter.

Fredo has his work cut out for him if he wants to mimic the success of Death Row.

Death Row Records, founded by Marion ‘Suge’ Knight and Dr. Dre, sold millions of records worldwide and boasted such talent, including, Snoop Dogg, Dogg Pound and, of course, Tupac Shakur.

But Fredo appears to be up to the challenge.

Fredo dropped his solo debut album “Trappin Ain’t Dead” earlier this week. It is the label’s first project.

The project’s tracklist includes guest features from Kendrick Lamar, Lil Herb, Gino Marley, Capo, SD, and Chief Keef.

Fredo leaked his lead single “Jealous,” featuring K Dot in October to favorable reviews.

Fredo’s newly leaked single “Clockwork” featuring Lil Herb is also gaining attention.
