Fredo Santana’s SSR Artist, Extendo Quono, Fatally Shot By Police In Body Cam Footage

Fredo Santana’s Savage Squad artist, Extendo Quono, was fatally shot by a police officer in late November. Body cam showing the police shooting of Quono has now surfaced online.

Quono, whose real name is Aquoness Cathery, was reportedly armed with a semi-automatic pistol when he was shot by Chicago Police at 61st and King Drive in the Washington Park neighborhood on the City’s South Side. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died hours later from his injuries. He was 24.

COPA, the Civilian of Police Accountability, released the video just days ago. The video shows officers entering an apartment unit, then chasing Quono out and down a set of porch stairs.

An autopsy Thursday revealed Quono died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to a medical examiner report obtained by Fox 32 Chicago.

Quono is shot after officers claim he pointed a gun at them.

Fredo Santana had took to Twitter to mourn the loss of his artist.

He wrote, “Long live quano frontstreet or no street Bzzz.”
