G Herbo posted impressive numbers for his debut album “Humble Beast” as an independent artist. Herb moved 20,872 units of his album in his first week, with 6,732 units coming from traditional sales.
Kevin Gates posted even more impressive numbers despite being behind bars. Gates is currently serving a 30-month sentence on a charge of felony gun possession.
Gates sold 40,650 copies of “By Any Means 2,” with 17,834 units from traditional sales.
Herb’s 15-track project features guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Bump J, Lil Bibby, Lil Yachty and Jeremih. Production on the tape comes DJ L, C-Sick, Southside and more.
