J. Cole is back with some poetic melodies for his true Hip Hop heads. The North Carolina native dropped his latest track ‘Cole Summer’ to considerable praise.
The Roc Nation signee produced the track and got some creative energy after sampling Lauryn Hill and D’Angelo’s ‘Nothing Even Matters.’
Despite the track’s mellow sound, Cole may have sparked a bit of controversy after name checking celebrity twin sisters Tia and Tamera Mowery.
“If i had one wish, I would fuck Tia and Tamera, at the same time/And put name tags on they titties so I don’t get they name wrong,” Cole raps.
Tia soon learned she was mentioned in the song and asked followers to send her the link via Twitter.
“So I’m hearing J Cole mentioned the sis and I in a song? Send me the link? I’m curious..” she wrote.
A slightly embarrassed J. Cole replied to Mowery’s tweet, “Noooo @tiamowry Don’t do itttt.”
Mowery retweeted J. Cole, writing, “oh lord.”
Cole is prepping the released of his sophomoric studio album effort “Born Sinner.” The album is slated to drop on June 25.
