MUBU, according to King Louie, is a movement. Fans familiar with Louie may have already known this.

But what fans may not know is the meaning behind King L’s flagship movement.

The “Drilluminati 2” rapper took to IG to elaborate further on the meaning behind his movement.



MUBU, an acronym for “Man Up Band Up,” means to “be a man about every situation and get your money,” according to Louie.

Gang, according to Louie, “is just a term used to state we’re a group of individuals whom are ‘men about every situation and get their money.’”

But Louie wanted clarify that MUBU is not a “street gang.”

“F*ck you and what you believe if you can’t understand that,” he wrote.

“Btw I started this, so I know wtf I’m talking about,” he added.
