L’A Capone’s Third Killer Sakhee Hardy-Johnson aka Lil Mick Sentenced To 60 Years In Prison

L’A Capone can finally rest in peace. Capone’s third and final killer has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term.

Capone, born Leonard Anderson, was shot and killed at age 17 while leaving a studio on Sept. 26, 2013.

Sakhee Hardy-Johnson, aka Lil Mick, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison. Lil Mick, 20, was admitted into Stateville Correctional Center on Tuesday, Nov. 21.

Lil Mick was found guilty of Capone’s murder in February. Momma Capone took to IG to announce the guilty verdict.

Momma Capone posted a photo of L’A with a caption, reading, “@600boy_la Im so tired but I never gave up. I fought real hard to get that justice for you like I promised #3guiltyverdicts #justice4LA. You can rest and so can I.”

Lil Mick, at age 17, provided a statement to police upon his arrest admitting to getting a gun before going to the studio where L’A Capone was murdered, according to Chicago Sun Times. He also admitted to being inside a parked vehicle “that would run interference in the event that police officers arrived on scene.”

Also charged in Capone’s slaying were Meiko Buchanan and Michael Mays.

Buchanan, 25, confessed to the crime while in custody awaiting trial on unrelated charges of aggravated battery of a peace officer and aggravated use of a weapon, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Meiko Buchananan was sentenced to 45 years in prison. Meiko was transferred from Cook County to Menard Correction Center in early November after learning his fate.

Buchanan’s role in the murder was driver of the “trail car,” a vehicle that follows the lead car containing the gunman, Assistant State’s Attorney Alex Molesky told the Tribune.

Buchanan allegedly said he pulled into the alley and watched the gunman sneak up on L’A and shoot him twice.

The alleged rival gang members had an ongoing dispute with Capone, Molesky said in court, according to the Tribune.

In September, Momma Capone announced Buchanan was found guilty.

The caption on her post read, “I know u in heaven smiling down right now got some justice for you today 1 down 2 more to go #justiceforlacapone.”

Her second IG post related to Capone’s trial read, “Guilty.”
