What would happen if there was an actual sex strike in Chiraq? Bibby posed the question to his homeboy Slug after viewing Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq” film with Fader Magazine.

“Keep it a thousand, though,” Lil Bibby said. “If they put the strike on you Slug – right or wrong – you taking sh*t. I know you, man, you raping sh*t.”

Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq,” according to IMDB, is “a modern day adaptation of the ancient Greek play Lysistrata by Aristophanes where women withhold sex from their gang banger boyfriends to end gang violence in Chicago.”



Bibby critical of the Brooklyn filmmaker’s film project after seeing the trailer.

“That Chiraq trailer look like a Parody,” he wrote.



Lil Bibby previously offered his opinion on Lee’s upcoming film project during an interview with Hip Hops Revival.

“I think it’s good that somebody’s coming in and give light to the City… like show what’s really going on,” he said. “I just hope the storyline is on-point with real life Chicago. …No fake stuff.”
