Lil Durk announced to fans via IG the official release for his highly anticipated “Signed To The Streets 2” mixtape.
According to Durk’s caption on his IG post, the project will drop June 18.
Durk additionally teased a 15-second snippet of his “Party” music video featuring Young Thug.
Lil Durk issued a statement, saying he would address everything on this project. Durk has had a busy year. He could possibly be alluding to his weapons charge and industry beefs
Durk issued a “Signed To The Streets 2” PSA in late March, telling fans the tape was “on its way.”
“Signed To The Streets 2 on its way, man. Shout out DJ Drama. Shout out to all these hard working artists, it’s a f*cking movement. It’s a drill. Shout out to all my competition who on my ass and I’m on they ass. I’m up next. Squad sh*t only, man.”
Durk has been pretty much mum on details surrounding the project, but the Def Jam rapper promises the sequel to be a motion picture.
“#signedtothestreets2 gone be a movie n*ggas say it but I mean it @djdrama #OTF,” Durk wrote on IG.
Durk echoed this claim in his Sound Mann-produced “Working With Lil Durk” vlog.
“Shout out DJ Drama, French Montana. We got a lot of producers messing with us for this “Only The Family” album,” Durk said. “A lot of new producers, up and coming…ones that’s hot, scorching. We finna go crazy on this album. Shout out Young Chop. Shout out Def Jam. This finna be a movie… ‘Signed To The Streets 2,’ we got a lot of features in place.”
