Lil Herb, a rising artist from Chicago, is currently prepping the release of his solo debut project “Welcome To Fazoland.”
Herb name-dropped a few Chi Town MCs who may appear on the project.
“Bibby, of course,” Herb told VladTV. “My homie GBE Capo… I’ma throw King Louie on the tape… Durk probably. I’m really just getting the last finishing touches ready.”
The “Kill Shit” rapper says their isn’t a set date for the tape.
“It’s not even a dat,” he explained. “I’m really just trying to ride some shit out. Probably drop some more visuals. Promo it a little bit.”
The title of his debut mixtape is of extra importance to Herb as it commemorates the loss of a friend.
“I got the name of the tape from my homie,” Herb said. “He passed away. His name is Fazon. We called him Fazo. We named out hood after Fazoland. ‘Welcome To Fazoland’ I’ma give em where I came from, tell em what’s going on out here. It’s a really a story, I’m tryna tell a story. Who I am and where I’m from and how I got to where I am right now.”
