It’s clear as day whose back Lil Wayne has, and it sure isn’t Birdman. Weezy was recently photoed with Rick Ross and Trick Daddy at the “Formation” tour in Miami.
Last week, Charlamagne asked Birdman if he pulled up on Ross and Trick Daddy the way he was pulling up on him.
But Weezy’s photo with Ross and Trick could possibly mean nothing.
50 Cent weighed in on Birdman’s outburst on IG, writing, “LMAO Baby on his gangsta sh*t. when these two fell out, I told everybody stay away from that. They got to much history, they gonna work it out. #EffenVodka.”
Birdman was rumored to be taking aim at Wayne in upcoming song “Fuk Em,” featuring Nino Calvin and Hot Boy.
Birdman credits himself for making artists millionaires in a short snippet that was posted to his IG.
In the snippet, he says, “Who put this shit together, n***a? me, that’s who / Who took nothing turned it into something, that started with nothing? me, that’s who / Who made n****s millionaires and they ain’t had nothing before I met ’em and then I made ’em rich or something, n***a? me, that’s who / Who went to the penitentiary caught five and had 15 and came out with ten on paper? me, that’s who / Who come from uptown movin’ birds, puttin’ in work gettin’ to work, n***a? me, that’s who / Who sold a billion records, n***a? me, thats who / Who was 16 n***a with a mil cash, n***a? me, that’s who.”
Lil Wayne made headlines after filing a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against his pops.
Famed Cashmoney producer Manny Fresh told Genius during an interview that matters between Birdman and Weezy are not yet resolved.
“Everything is not resolved with [Birdman] and Wayne, but I overcame it by saying to them, ‘We can resolve all that behind the curtain, but for now, let’s make music for the people,’” Fresh said.
