Lud Foe Talks ‘Cuttin Up,’ and Earning Respect From Lil Durk and G Herbo

Lud Foe is one artist whose name has been ringing bells lately. Lud Foe, who hails from the West Side of Chicago, became an instant underground celebrity after releasing several hot music videos, including, “187,” “I’m Da Man” and “Cuttin Up,” to name a few.

The 19-year-old rapper recently sat down with Hip Hops Revival for his first in-person interview.

Foe was asked his reaction to the success of his hot single “Cuttin Up.”

“It was exciting,” he said. “…I didn’t know it was gonna do that, though.”

Foe’s talents soon got the attention of some of the Chi’s hottest rappers, including G Herbo and Lil Durk.

“I didn’t know em before the music, but they rock with me, though,” Foe said.

Lud Foe and Lil Durk would later collab on a remix to the “Cuttin Up” joint.

“Durk manager called me saying Durk wanna get on a remix,” Lud Foe explained. “We linked up, made it happen.”

Lud Foe is no newbie to the game. He revealed he was first influenced by his cousin nine years ago and has been rapping ever since.

“I always liked how he rapped,” he said. “I never really knew how to rap. I always wanted to learn how to rap.”

Lud Foe is currently prepping the release of his “Boochie Gang: Volume One” project.
