Only a few days remain until the release of Lupe Fiasco’s fifth studio album “Tetsuo & Youth.” Lupe is celebrating its release with an album release party held at Exclusive773 store. The West Side native will be present at the store Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. to sign copies of his album.
Fans can pre-order Lupe’s album via iTunes.
Lupe released singles “Deliver,” “Madonna” and “Adoration of the Magi” to up anticipate for the project.
Lupe told Rolling Stone he was abandoning socio-political rhymes on T&Y.
“For some people it’s gonna be a shock because there are no politics on the record. Consciously, there are no politics on the record,” he said. “If you want to hear my political spiel or some pseuo-intellectual Lup, go listen to ‘Food & Liquor II.” From here on out, I’m just making music.”
The project will feature Chris Brown, Big K.R.I.T. and Rick Ross, to name a few.
