New Orleans rapper Lil’ Snupe, a protégé of MMG rapper Meek Mill, was fatally shot Thursday morning.

The rapper’s final tweet before his tragic demise paid homage to his hometown.

“i Hold it Down 4 Louisiana,” he wrote.



Rumors of the young MC’s death caught the attention of Meek.

“tell lil snupe hit me up right now!!!” Meek wrote on his Twitter account.

Turk, formerly of the Cash Money Hot Boys, sent a message to Meek, writing, SHIT TRUE BRUH…”



Turk took to his Twitter account to remember the fallen emcee.

“FUCKED UP!!!!! JUST TALKED TO LIL HOMIE #THUGGNPEACE @LILSNUPE,” he wrote.



The young NOLA rapper’s death was confirmed via his manager on Instagram.

“The call I got this morning us un real RIP 2 my Lil nigga @lilsnupe,” the caption on the photo read.
