D’Angelo Russell’s locker room troubles with Laker teammates made its way into the headlines of many national publications. Russell secretly videotaped Nick Young revealing he cheated on fiancé Iggy Azalea. Though Russell issued an apology, the damage has already been done.



In the controversial video, Russell asks Young, “You was 30 and she was 19?” referencing Young’s age and the age of another woman that Young said that he met in a nightclub.

“What about Amber Rose?” Russell later asks.

“No, she knows my girl,” Young replies.

Russell then tells Young, “I’m glad you told my video all that.”

“Huh?” Young says before the video cuts off.

Young took to Twitter to ask, “What’s going on in 2016.”

Young’s tweet drew a response out of Meek Mill who has had his name in the media quite a bit due to his social media squabbles with Drake and 50 Cent.

Meek posted a screenshot of Young’s tweet onto IG with a caption, reading, “I think I lost understanding of everything too… s**t like a #f**kboyfestival what happened???”

Russell’s actions have caused a fallout with his team. A source told ESPN that no one would sit with Russell at a recent breakfast meeting. In another instance, Russell came into the locker room and sat next to guard Lou Williams, who got up and walked away.
