Hot 97 radio host Ebro Darden set social media ablaze after he stated Drake would be open to battle Eminem. Though Ebro later stated it was a joke, the damage was already done.
Drizzy issued a statement on the matter via IG, writing, “If they don’t have a story these days.”
With the jokes running wild on social media, self-proclaimed Rap God Montana of 300 decided to get in on the action. The “Fire In The Church” rapper messaged Drizzy on Twitter, saying his services are available in case he needs a ghostwriter.
“@Drake what’s good?
“If @Drake wanna beat @Eminem in a battle, then I am the way. #RapGod #FGEShit,” he wrote.
We’re not sure if Drizzy needs Montana’s ghostwriting services, but Drake is going to have to bring his A-Game if he wants to go toe-to-toe with Em.
A report by Hollywood Life states Em is ready to get at if Drizzy if it comes down to it, saying, it “would be a quick knockout.”
“Marshall thinks Drake is a great studio rapper,” the source said. “He has a great sound and has plenty of hooks that are amazing. But when it comes to street rapping — battle rapping — Drizzy would get destroyed.”
