An unlikely meeting took place between South Side Chicago rapper Lil Mouse and NBC Today Show weatherman Al Roker on Sway In The Morning radio show.
Al Roker expressed his dissatisfaction with derogatory lyrics in popular music during the segment’s review of Black Rob’s new song “Chapter One” featuring Quan.
“I got a problem with the lyrics. How do we respect our young women when popular music calls them bitches?” Roker asked. “…There’s gotta be some point where we say, ‘No. Why do we have to do that?’”
Roker then turned to Mouse for his opinion of the B-word.
Mouse drew laughter after responding, “I don’t know about that question, but the song, it was good.”
Roker pressed his question further asking Mouse, “Do you have a sister…How would you like it if somebody called her that?”
Mouse responded, “I wouldn’t like it, that’s why I don’t want to address it.”
Lil Mouse’s debut album “Michael Mouse Myers” is set to drop Tuesday, March 11 on iTunes. Fans can pre-order Lil Mouse’s “Michael Mouse Myers” album by clicking here.
