All three suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Mississippi State University student John Sanderson in a dormitory Saturday, March 25. The third suspect Trent Crump turned himself into police Tuesday near Gainesville, Fla. The other two suspects Duntae Harvey, 21, and Mason Perry Jones, 21, were arrested Monday.

A 21-year-old University of Rhode Island basketball player has been arrested and charged with posting his sexual encounters with two female students on Facebook. Johnathan Holton, who averaged 10.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season, reportedly was charged with two felony counts of video voyeurism.

A 21-year-old Jackson, Miss. man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of John Sanderson, a 21-year-old Mississippi State University student. Mason Perry Jones was arrested Monday on a capitol murder charge and the sale of a controlled substance after U.S. Marshals reportedly found him traveling on a bus in Memphis, Tenn.

Students from Atlanta’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities rallied in honor of Trayvon Martin at the Georgia State Capitol Monday. More than 3,000 people were in attendance to protest the death of an unarmed 17-year-old boy who was walking back to his father’s fiancé’s home from picking up snacks.

An Iraqi woman was found severely beaten in an apparent hate crime inside her home. Shaima Alawadi was found unconscious Wednesday by her 17-year-old daughter and taken to hospital where she was placed on life support. She died Saturday afternoon after being taken off life support.
