PeeWee Roscoe, an affiliate of Birdman and Young Thug’s Rich Gang, was arrested and booked into the Cobb County jail early Tuesday on charges resulting from shooting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Roscoe, born Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, is reportedly being held without bond on multiple felony counts that include aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Roscoe is no stranger to the Hip Hop scene. Photos have surfaced showing Roscoe hanging out with Young Thug, Birdman, Meek Mill, T.I, Soulja Boy and Dwight Howard.
Roscoe even collaborated alongside Young Thug on T.I.’s song “Bankrolls On Deck.”
Roscoe, 25, of Atlanta, is reported to have carried out the crime to gain higher gang status in the Bloods Gang, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Roscoe allegedly cause $20,000 worth of damages when two tour buses belonging to Lil Wayne were hit on I-285 near I-75 in Cobb County following a performance at Compound nightclub, according to WSB-TV. Roscoe is reported to have fired the shots from his vehicle. No one was injured.
“Said accused did commit said act in order to gain status in his criminal organization by a committing a high profile shooting of a rival rap artist,” the warrant states, according to AJC. “Said accused has associated himself with known blood gang members in the Atlanta area.”
