Renowned radio host Warren Ballentine has been charged in a $10 million mortgage fraud scheme, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. reportedly has been indicted by a federal grand jury for “defrauding lenders by scheming with others to obtain nearly 30 bogus mortgage loans,” the Tribune reports.
Ballentine has been let go by Radio One as the investigation unfolds. The self-proclaimed “People’s Attorney” took to FaceBook to proclaim his innocence.
