Police Bought Charleston Church Shooter Dylann Roof A Burger King Meal After Arrest

A perfect example of white privilege occurred following the murder of nine churchgoers in Charleston, SC.

Shelby police Chief Jeff Ledford provided his account to the Observer of what occurred the day of Charleston Church shooting suspect Dylann Roof’s arrest.

Roof, 21, was the gunman behind the deadly shooting of nine churchgoers at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Dylann Roof, who admitted to the heinous crime, was taken to Burger King following his arrest after complaining of hunger, according to the Charlotte Observer.

“He was very quiet, very calm. He didn’t talk,” Ledford told the Observer. “He sat down here very quietly. He was not problematic.”

Roof appeared in court Friday on charges of nine counts of first-degree murder and one count of possession of a weapon. He was ordered held on $1 million bond.

Roof allegedly confessed to the crime saying he wanted to start a race war.
