Two members of the popular Chicago rap group Thot Boyz were shot Wednesday, May 29. The young men, who are brothers, were the victims of a drive-by shooting while sitting on their porch in the 700 block of South Normal Avenue, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Vaughn Allison, who performed under the rap moniker Thot Boy VA, succumbed to his injuries.

His brother Vell Allison, whose stage name is Thot Boy Vell, is currently recovering in Stroger hospital. He was listed in serious condition.

Close friends and family of the pair held a vigil at their home.



It is not known whether authorities have any leads in the case.
