Rico Recklezz is currently sitting in Cook County after he was arrested Tuesday, June 13 for fleeing police while driving 21 miles over the speed limit. The Recklezz Renegade frontman is being held on no bond.
Rico was arrested alongside friend Reese Bell who was booked on a felony possession of weapon charge. Bell’s bail has been set at $75,000.
Rico recently celebrated getting off house arrested in September 2016.
Rico was released from jail in February 2015 after spending nearly two years in prison on a weapons charge
Rico and eight others were arrested August 2013 while filming a music video in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side, according to The Chicago Tribune.
Rico and two other men, Sheldon Cobb and Rayvon Lollis, were slapped with felony charges, according to ABC 7.
Police found the men in possession of three firearms after responding to a report of criminal trespass, CBS 2 reports.
Rico, was charged with one count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and criminal trespass to land, according to DNAinfo.
Rico’s next court date is today (Friday, June 15).
